Gracie & Jack’s Wedding at ShyLynn Ranch in British Columbia

Gracie and Jack chose ShyLynn Ranch as the setting for their wedding in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. If you can catch the countryside outside the smokey fires, the surroundings, rustic character, and the properties offer a beautiful backdrop for a celebration. Luckily for us, a few rain dances, a handful of prayers and positive spirits were able to blow that smoke out of the evening sky and present us with the most perfect, sun-shiney day to celebrate the Krull's!

There is something especially compelling about photographing a wedding in a setting with its own personality. Shy Lynn Ranch offers texture, space, and a connection to the landscape, giving the photographs a sense of place alongside the story of the couple.

Hiring Cacie Carroll was easily the best decision we made for our wedding.
Working with her was an absolute dream from start to finish. We had to navigate some heavy smoke, sudden weather threats and a fair amount of day-of chaos, and Cacie was unfazed. Not only was she extremely professional, she brought a humor and lightness to every room. She has an ability to make the people around her feel comfortable and confident, which is exactly how you want to feel while getting photographed. Not only did my husband and I enjoy taking our couple portraits, Cacie created a space for us to connect and be present with each other. Taking photos with Cacie throughout the day felt more like an escape than an obligation.
When we got our gallery back, we were completely speechless. The quality is beyond anything I could have hoped for. Every detail of the day was perfectly captured, along with the character and warmth of our family and friends. Wedding days go by so quickly, you want to hire someone that is going to catch every moment with intention, and that’s Cacie.
