Some wedding days feel like stepping into a beautifully designed film set, intentional, artful, and overflowing with personality. Danielle and Alex’s celebration at Harding Waterfront Estate was exactly that: a refined pastel dream, layered with sentiment and styled with an artistic eye that made every moment feel magazine-worthy.

Danielle, a set designer, and her sister, a professional planner, collaborated to design a wedding experience that felt both imaginative and deeply personal. They chose soft pastel tones, sculptural florals, and design-forward vignettes that brought the property to life in the most elegant way. For a photographer, it was pure heaven.

But what made the day especially meaningful? They prioritized portraits.From the very beginning, they made space in their timeline for genuine, unrushed imagery, which meant we were able to explore the full grounds, chase buttery sunset light, and create an editorial-leaning gallery filled with variety and emotion. Portraits weren’t squeezed into the schedule… they were held sacred.

Harding Waterfront Estate offered the perfect backdrop: manicured gardens, sprawling lawns, white-washed architecture, and warm early-fall light that felt like it was made just for them. With every corner of the property offering a new visual story, we captured everything from soft, romantic frames to chic, architectural compositions that spoke to their style.

The entire day moved with intention. Gentle, joyful, and beautifully curated without ever feeling rigid. Danielle and Alex’s connection was effortless, their families were warm and welcoming, and the energy stayed high well into the evening (thanks to an unreal dance floor moment after moment).

This wedding is one I’ll be inspired by for years to come: a reminder that when design and storytelling meet, magic happens.
